AN EXHIBITION OF WORKS BY CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS OF THE CENTRAL AUSTRALIAN DESERT.

This Land of Seeds and Knowing is an exhibition of works in diverse styles from Warlpiri artists.

The exhibition takes its inspiration from the words and thinking of Robin Wall Kimmerer — scientist, botanist, writer, professor, and enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation — particularly from her reflections in The Serviceberry. Kimmerer asks us to reconsider a foundational assumption of Western thought: that the world is something we own, rather than something for which we hold moral responsibility.
